Festival of Trees

Applications are now being accepted for the Festival of Trees. Small groups, ministry committees, and mission teams are invited to submit their plans which will not only make the Christian Life Center festive this Advent season but tell the story of what God is doing through your group. 

The Festival of Trees will feature Christmas trees provided by Ankeny First. Tree sponsors are asked to provide their own ornaments, lights, ribbons, tinsel, tree skirts, etc. which should reflect a theme. Ideas include but are not limited to a specific mission, an Advent theme, the nativity, our church history, the names of Jesus, a ministry team of Ankeny First, etc. 

Tree set-up and decorating for groups whose applications have been accepted will take place November 23-29. Christmas trees will be on display in the CLC narthex during the Advent season.
