Trinity Supper Club (First Wednesday of the Month)

We are the First Wednesday Trinity Supper Club. Every first Wednesday we meet at the Christian Life Center to prepare meals and deliver them to Trinity Las America in downtown Des Moines, which go to the community and after-school children. To make that happen, we need kitchen helpers, van drivers, and cookie bakers. Our 2-3 kitchen helpers would arrive at the CLC at 1:30 p.m. to help prepare the meals for transport and clean up the kitchen afterward, usually staying until around 3 p.m. Our Ankeny First certified van driver would arrive at the CLC at 2:45 p.m. to drive the meals downtown to Trinity by 3:45 p.m. (NOTE: if you have a large vehicle like a minivan or large SUV, you may drive that and wouldn't need to go through the certification process.) To sweeten the deal, we need 6-7 volunteers to each bake 2 dozen cookies and deliver them, individually wrapped, to the CLC by 1:30 p.m. on the first Wednesday.
